Our City and University tour runs daily and is the perfect way to get to know this magical city. Lasting 90 minutes, one of our knowledgeable guides will take you through a history of the famous city that is over a thousand years old, including a visit to one of the famous colleges as you hear about the hidden stories that reveal the heart of one of the oldest universities in the world. You will also learn first-hand about the intricacies of academic life from both past and present days.
Oxford ghost tour
A frightful tour of Oxford’s famous hauntings
Join us for a ghostly tour of the haunted city. Death is anything but dull and our specialist guides provide first-hand stories of Oxford’s streets which have played host to agony and horror, torment and terror. Meet the ghosts of a headless archbishop and a heartbroken teenager and feel a chill from the old crypt of St Mary’s Church. Walk with us as we unpack the friendship between these two literary giants, covering seven different locations with plenty of stories at each. See where their writing club the Inklings first met, visit the home of Tolkien, see the actual Two Towers and the Narnia lamppost and hear more about some of the characters from their great stories.
Harry Potter tour
Step into the magical world of Hogwarts
Come discover the magical world of Harry Potter! We will take you into the medieval buildings that inspired the eight films and share some of the behind-the-scenes stories that are not well known to visitors. We also show you the actual sites where Harry, Hermione and Ron walked, taking you into both New College, where many scenes were filmed, and the Divinity School which served as the Hogwarts Infirmary and the location of the Triwizard Ball.
Morse, Lewis and Endeavour tour
For fans of the famous detective series
In 1986, the iconic Inspector Morse hit the streets investigating a set of brutal murders in Oxford. Learn more about this hit detective series as we show you around the key sites from the show, including the Randolph Hotel, Morse’s favourite city pubs, and the many quiet back streets where our favourite detective walked. This tour will take you into one of the colleges that was used for filming all three TV series and introduce you to the back story of the original books.

Exclusive tour with current student guide
With a maximum group size of six people, this detailed, premium tour lasts three hours, providing plenty of opportunity to soak up the full flavour of student life at Oxford. Explore the city with an alumnus of the University of Oxford, who will give you a glimpse into student life and unpack some of the legends of its ancient halls. This tour will take you into several Oxford colleges, finishing with an intimate lunch with your guide in one of the oldest dining locations in the city, a favourite of students.
