The Oxford Walking Tour is excellent, and my 21-year-old son and I learned a lot about both the city of Oxford and the university, as well as the not always smooth relationship between town and gown. Our guide was Leonore, an Oxford student, and she was a fount of knowledge. Despite COVID restrictions only recently lifted, we were indeed able to go inside one of the colleges, where Leoonore showed us the courtyard and the beautiful chapel, and described Oxford student life. Both my son and I are history buffs, and so the tour was especially enjoyable. This walking tour is a must for all visitors to Oxford.

My husband and I were lucky to enjoy a wonderfully informative and entertaining tour led by Simon Image this evening. As well as enjoying some of the brilliantly creepy parts of Oxford, the history imparted was brilliant, and I have taken many facts and stories with me from the tour. Simon was a fantastic host, with some great book recommendations along the way!

We did the ghost tour and loved it. My son (13) said it was the best part of our visit to Oxford. I would recommend it to all ages.

Fantastic Tolkein/CS Lewis themed tour on 30 Dec. Edward was very entertaining and informative, bringing to life both the locations and people associated with them.

Well worth doing this tour, Stuart was fantastic. Unique access to the inside of the colleges and very informative.

The tour and the guide (Simon) were great! I would highly recommend it if you get the chance!

Not sure if you’ll remember me – I’m the Harry Potter fan who booked on the 11th September, and you managed to get us all into New College when many other tour providers couldn’t!

I wanted to say a huge thank you! Not just for your flexibility in allowing and paying for us to see the Harry Potter sites (which satisfied all of my childhood Potter wishes), but also just for the incredible tour itself – we found it interesting, inspiring, humorous and like we were with a true expert. It was truly the highlight of our trip.

We had such a cracking time!

Our tour guide Simon was amazing, he shared a wealth of knowledge with us and the whole 90 minutes was engaging from the very second he began talking to the very end.  Thank you Simon!

Very interesting informative and relaxing tour answered all our questions and lots of insight into Oxford

I highly recommend this company. [Compared with] an hour and a half watching a poorly made film or an unrewarding stroll through a museum, as entertainment goes, our walking tour of Oxford was most enjoyable. We were very appreciative of our guide Simon’s encyclopedic knowledge and passion for this great city
